Sugarbush is located in Howard, Colorado, 13 miles east of Salida and situated in the center of Pleasant Valley, which embraces the Arkansas River, famous for whitewater rafting and trout fishing.
Nestled among tall pine trees, our shady sites provide for hours of relaxation. Park amenities include hot showers and clean restrooms, 30 and some 50 amp service for RV's, laundry facilities, covered pavilion and a small brook running throughout the campground. Sugarbush is open May through September.
The general store is stocked with groceries, ice and gifts. We also sell hunting and fishing licenses.
We are close to fishing access on the Arkansas River and fishing is great all year.
